The Nebraska bowling team has a new conference home, as the Huskers are now an affiliate member of Conference USA for bowling-only. Nebraska has been an independent for bowling from the program’s elevation to varsity status in 1997-98, but will join C-USA effective for the 2025-26.

The league is also adding Wright State and Sacred Heart as affiliate members for the upcoming season. The conference also includes the bowling teams of Arkansas State, Jacksonville State, Louisiana Tech, Sam Houston, Tulane, Valparaiso, Vanderbilt, Wichita State and Youngstown State.

C-USA has sponsored women’s bowling for the last two years and had the national champion both years (Youngstown State in 2025, Jacksonville State in 2024) and seven of the eight national semifinalists in bowling the last two years. The only exception was Nebraska in 2025.
