Nebraska U.S. Congressman Mike Flood will be holding a town hall in Lincoln tonight, August 4, 2025, at the Kimball Recital Hall on UNL’s City Campus.

Flood tells KLIN News he’ll be discussing developments from Washington, what the plan is going forward to fund the government, and a few issues important to Lincoln and Nebraska’s 1st Congressional District.

“We’re certainly going to talk about the One Big Beautiful Bill that recently passed, a lot of folks in Lincoln have been asking about that and wanting some information. I’ll probably mention the East Beltway. That’s a priority. I continue to work on trying to relocate the Lincoln Post Office out of the Haymarket area next to the Pinnacle Bank Arena,” Flood said.

Remarks from the Congressman will be followed by a question-and-answer period. This will be Flood’s third town hall hosted in Lincoln.

The town hall will run from 5-6 p.m. and doors will open at 4:30 p.m. (Enter through the main doors on the north side. A map can be found here.)

This event is open to the public and seating is limited to 750 attendees. No signs or backpacks will be permitted. A clear bag policy will also be in place.

The townhall will be livestreamed by Nebraska Public Media. Watch at nebraskapublicmedia.org.
