More than three years after closing “due to circumstances out of our control,” Juice Stop announced this week its returning to downtown Lincoln.

The longstanding juice bar closed their location near 12th and Q Streets after 25 years of business. In May 2022, Juice Stop said on Facebook they were given 30 days to vacate the building while it was under construction.

“We will regroup and find a way to return to downtown hopefully in the near future,” the post said.

But Thursday, August 7, Juice Stop-Lincoln Official Joel Nowak came back to Facebook with a video announce they would return to the exact same location in September.

“We’ve always wanted to come back… We were part of the heart of downtown,” said Nowak. “I’m so excited to see some old faces that I haven’t seen for a long time.”

While its the same location, the interior has been significantly remodeled.

Downtown’s reopening will rebound Juice Stop to five locations across the city. The juice/smoothie franchise from California opened their first Lincoln location in 1998 at 70th and ‘O’ Street.
