Saturday morning’s severe thunderstorms left behind a trail of destruction at the Sandhills Global Event Center, home of the Lancaster County Superfair. Marketing Manager Gina Nathan says they have been working since early this morning to assess the situation, ensure safety and make necessary repairs.
Nathan says some areas of the fairgrounds will open later than usual today as cleanup continues. “The storm threw us a curveball, but our team came together, tackled the mess, and now we’re set to finish the fair on a high note.”
Nathan says the safety of their guests, vendors and staff is our top priority. “We will be working to update times on SuperFair.org as well.”
