Nebraska football’s future got a major boost Friday when Tory Pittman, III, a five-star Class of 2027 safety from Omaha Central, committed to Nebraska.
Pittman has started at Central since his freshman year and has been a weapon throughout his first two years for the Eagles. Last year as a sophomore, he racked up 54 tackles and three interceptions in 10 games on defense. He’s also an elite track athlete, leaping over 23 feet in the long jump to finish fourth in state track.
He’s the second commit of the class of 2027, joining four-star quarterback Trae Taylor.
