A soccer game Saturday afternoon at Cooper Park ended after Lincoln Police cited and released three people for Disturbing the Peace by Fighting.
LPD Lieutenant Jason Goodwin tells KLIN News, ” Several callers reported a physical altercation, with some indicating a baseball bat had been involved. Officers contacted all involved parties and witnesses.”
Witnesses and those involved gave different accounts about who started the altercation and the role of a plastic baseball bat.
Khalaf Mourad, Keri Mourad and Mark Holland were cited and released. No injuries were reported.
