LPD Investigating Two Convenience Store Robberies, Both Believed To Be Connected

Two Monday morning robberies at gas stations are believed to be connected.

Lincoln Police Captain Jake Dilsaver says the first call came from the Super C Store on West A Street after 4 followed by the C Station on South Coddington.

“(The second) which was a similar smash and grab type burglary where suspects broke out a glass door and made entry,” Dilsaver told KLIN News. “The loss at this time is undetermined.”

Dilsaver tells us a group of teenagers fled from a vehicle nearby and are believed to be the suspects.

Lincoln Police Ca ptain Jake Dilsaver tells KLIN News both incidents happened Saturday when a 42-year-old Lincoln man sustained significant damage to his hand, arm, face and chest from mortar tube exploding.

Dilsaver says a similar, but an unrelated incident happened to a 14-year-old.

Both are non-life-threatening but serious injuries.
