A scare for a Lincoln couple Friday stopped at a light at the 100 block of South 66th Street around 3 p.m.
Police were called and the couple and other witnesses told officers that a car drove up and the driver started yelling at them. He then pointed a shotgun out of the window at the couple. A witness tried to intervene and the driver of the car took off.
Police later found that vehicle in the Hobby Lobby parking lot. Inside they found 61-year-old Kevin Luebbe. He was removed from his vehicle due to noncompliance. Officers also found a shotgun in his vehicle.
Luebbe was booked for terroristic threats, use of a firearm to commit a felony, flee to avoid arrest and for obstructing an officer.
Police went on to say that Luebbe told police that he was the second coming of Jesus and he had no intention of injuring the couple.
