A 22 year old Grand Island man is facing drug charges after a report of a traffic issue around 2:30 a.m. on July 27th at SW 40th and West O Street.
Officers found a grey BMW stopped in the westbound lane of traffic.  As officers approached the vehicle, they found a man unresponsive in the driver’s seat.  On his lap was a vial that police later determined contained cocaine.

Blanco-Vasquez was booked for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of money while violating a drug law, no proof of financial responsibility, driving during revocation and no proof of ownership.
