An arrest is made in a double stabbing and the theft of a vehicle Monday night near 9th and South. A 51 year man provided a ride to two men. Both passengers started arguing and that led to one pulling out a knife and stabbing the other in the head. The knife was then held to the driver’s throat and he was ordered to drive. The driver instead got out of the vehicle where he was stabbed by the suspect. He also was forced into turning over his keys and his phone. The vehicle was found later at 11th and G Street.
Both the victims were taken to a hospital for treatment.
On September 1st, just before 10 p.m., 27 year old Exabian Vaughn turned himself in at the F Street Rec Center. He was booked for robbery, 2nd degree assault and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
