On Tuesday, September 1st, Lincoln Police made a traffic stop on a vehicle near 1st and W Superior at 5 p.m. The registration on the vehicle expired in June. The officer asked the driver for permission to search the car and noticed the driver was acting nervous.
The driver told police the only thing in the vehicle that was not hers was a back pack in the passenger seat. Inside, officers found a realistic looking BB gun. Under the driver’s seat, the officer found a baggie containing three types of Oxycodone, a schedule II controlled substance that totaled 20 1/4 pills. The driver did not have a prescription for the drugs. Officers also found $170 in cash.
33 year old Jessica Kolb was arrested for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and possession of money whie violating a drug law.
