On Tuesday, August 10th at 10 a.m., the “End of Watch Ride to Remember” will be coming to 575 S 10th Street to honor investigator Mario Herrera.
This organization is a group of motorcycle riders from the state of Washington. They travel around the country visiting police departments to honor those who have fallen in the line of duty in 2020.
The ride will travel through Lincoln from 84th and Highway 2 and then northbound on 10th Street to the Police Station. They will be accompanied by LPD’s motorcycle unit along with some from other agencies. They also have a trailer with photos of all the fallen officers who died in 2020 traveling with them.
This event is open to the public.
