Lincoln residents are invited to attend a Drive-Thru Career Fair on Thursday, September 10th from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Gateway Mall.
The Partnership for Economic Development and EmployLKN are hosting their third drive-thru fair. Approximately 42 area employers are taking part and the goal is to distribute 500 packets of information to those looking for a job. Employers continue to report they have interviewed and hired prospective job seekers as a result of the previous fairs.
This is a contactless event where attendees drive up to the Gateway Mall location and pick up a packet of information that contains job opening information from area employers. Job openings range from entry-level to management in fields such as manufacturing, office, construction, healthcare and more.
The goal is to connect the 10,000 Lancaster County residents that are now receiving unemployment benefits and were working prior to March 21 to careers in a variety of sectors. The Drive-Thru Career Fair is made possible by LPED, EmployLNK, Gateway Mall, the Center for People in Need and several other local agencies.
