On October 24th just after 3 p.m., police were called to 18th and Knox to investigate an assault. Officers arrived and found a 34 year old male victim who reported visiting a female acquaintance when a male kicked in the door and stabbed him in the face. Officers observed evidence that the door had been kicked in at the female’s apartment.
The victim was transported to a local area hospital for treatment of what are considered serious but non-life threatening injuries.
