On October 28th just before 7pm, investigators with the Lincoln-Lancaster County Narcotics Task Force saw 51 year old Michael Muhle driving a silver 2000 BMW sedan. Investigators were familiar with Muhle and knew that he was wanted reference an assault investigation from October 26th. Muhle also had a local warrant and was driving on a suspended license.
Investigators then saw Muhle to pull up to an apartment building in the 2000 block of Randolph Street and contacted him just outside his vehicle. Muhle was taken into custody without incident. However, during a search of his person a plastic bag containing 29.5 grams of methamphetamine was located along with almost $4,000 cash.
During a search of the vehicle, investigators located an additional 314.6 grams of methamphetamine under the passenger seat (total street value around $30,000).
Muhle was arrested for his warrant, Possession with Intent to Deliver (140 grams or more), Possession of Money while Violating a Drug Law, and Driving During Suspension.
