Lincoln Police are looking for two men who robbed Diamond Masters Jeweler at 2740 N 48th Street around 1:30 Thursday afternoon.
The owner told police two men walked in, showed a handgun and robbed him of a large amount of jewelry. The owner is still totaling losses but reported rings, necklaces, earrings and wedding bands were taken from the store. The thieves apparently also took keys to the jewelry cases. Lincoln Police requested assistance from the Nebraska State Patrol helicopter to help track down the suspects who likely left in a vehicle. the suspects were not located.
Investigators processed the scene, canvassed the area, and are requesting video from neighboring businesses and residences. This investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is encouraged to call Lincoln Police at 402-441-6000 or Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.
