On Sunday, a man called police after going to his storage unit at 32nd and Huntington Avenue and finding two people inside removing things and putting them in a vehicle.
When police arrived the suspects were still inside the unit. Police found a pair of metal knuckles in 24 year old Benjamin Kawamura’s sweatshirt pocket. The victim was also able to identify his property removed from the storage unit that was in Kawamura’s vehicle. Inside that vehicle was a backpack on the front seat with a compact mirror with white residue that tested positive for methamphetamine and a container with 1.1 grams of methamphetamine in the center console. Officers also located a set of key rings with multiple keys and several locks sitting on the center console.
Kawamura was arrested for Burglary, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of a Deadly Weapon during commission of a felony.
37 year old Tory Stone was arrested for Burglary and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

The victim was able to recover approximately $200 in property but stated he was still missing around $3,000 in tools.
