A Lancaster County man is facing a list of charges that include domestic assault, terroristic threats and false imprisonment after the Sheriff’s Office was contacted by a woman on November 17tth.

Chief Deputy Ben Houchin says the woman had traveled to 2201 West Foot Hills Road at 8 p.m. Sunday, November 16th to visit her two children.  The children lived with her soon-to-be ex-husband, 48 year old Billy Brown.  The woman reported that Brown assaulted her by striking her and using a belt with a buckle.  He did not allow her to leave the residence and took her car keys and cell phone.  During that time the woman was assaulted several times and was bound to the point she was unable to leave.  After apparently several hours the woman was able to escape.

Sheriff’s Investigators obtained a search warrant and there was evidence that backed up the woman’s story.  Brown was located and taken into custody and booked on charges listed above.

It is known known if the 12 and 7 year old children were at the residence at the time of the assault.  The investigation continues.
