A man is recovering after a violent attack outside the Walmart store at 4700 N 27th Street on Saturday, November 28th around 2 p.m.
Officers contacted a 31 year old man who said yelled at another driver to slow down in the lot. The male driver got out of the vehicle and threatened to kill the victim. He then pulled out a knife and started swinging it at the victim who was able to push the man away but was still cut in the face with the knife. The man then punched the victim several times before he got back into the vehicle and took off.
The victim was treated at a local area hospital for his injuries which are considered non-life threatening. Police have video from the store. This investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is encouraged to call Lincoln Police at 402-475-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 402-441-6000.
