Lincoln Police were called to the 100 block of W Dawes Street at 8 p.m. on December 2nd to investigate a pedestrian injury.
Officers learned that 19 year old Briley Phillip and another 19 year old woman had made arrangements to fight. When Phillip got to the destination a group had gathered and she did not want to get out of her vehicle. Witnesses reported they saw her car drive forward, up and over a curb before hitting a 13 year old girl who was not part of the disturbance.
The girl suffered minor injuries and did not seek medical treatment.
Witnesses identified Phillip as the driver and she police found her at her home later. She was booked for 2nd degree assault and willful reckless driving.
