Lincoln Police were called to a home at 41st and Garfield at 6 p.m. on December 2nd after receiving a report of an attempted break-in. Police were told by the resident that he saw through home security video someone trying to kick in the back door to their home. Officers did not find damage to the door and determined they were not able to get inside. One of the suspects was carrying a handgun.
Officers canvassed the area, processed the scene for evidence, and are requesting video from neighbors in the area. This investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is encouraged to call Lincoln Police at 402-441-6000 or Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.
