Lincoln Police are looking at evidence and analyzing video from the scene of four vehicle break-ins on Monday, December 7th just after 7 a.m. near 30th and Yankee Hill road.
Officers arrived and saw that windows had been broken out of the vehicles and in three of the cases purses had been left inside and were missing. Each victim reported they were working bout between 5:30 a.m. and 7 a.m. that morning when the thefts occurred. The total loss is estimated at $2,000 and the damage to vehicles at $500.

Lincoln Police remind residents that gyms, trail heads, and dog parks can be the targets of thefts from vehicles. Often, the victim leaves their belongings in the vehicle as it is cumbersome to take them during a workout. Remember to plan ahead. Take valuables out of your vehicle or find a way to keep them secured out of sight.
