If you have any empty shoe boxes in your home the Capital Humane Society would love to have them. Matt Madcharo is Director of Operations of the Admissions and Assessment Center and tells KLIN News they are running low and need boxes for their cats.
“Animal care staff will put them in their cages for them and gives them a nice place to lay and be a little more comfortable during their stay with us,” Madcharo says. “Some of the cats are maybe a little more shy, gives them a little place to crawl in and hide a little bit.”
Boxes can be dropped off this weekend at the Pieloch Pet Adoption Center at 6500 S 70th Street from 11:30 to 5:30 or the Admissions & Assessment Center at 2320 Park Blvd from 12-4 p.m.
