Arrest Made In Forgery And Theft Cases, Suspect No Stranger To Law Enforcement

Lincoln Police started investigating two counterfeit cases on September 15th when a man passed two $20 bills at the Runza restaurant at 13th and South street.  Officers obtained video surveillance of the crime.

On December 6th at 11 a.m., police were called to investigate a theft from a vehicle near 81st and Garland  The victim stated her wallet had been taken from her vehicle and the loss was about $230.  There were unauthorized charges made on her bank account.  A nearby Ring doorbell provided police with video evidence.

An investigator was working on a separate case when she saw the images from the two crimes and recognized the suspect as 21 year old Noah Miller.  The investigator had previous cases in which Miller was a suspect and was familiar with him.

On Saturday, December 11th at 7:45 p.m., officers located Miller at his home in the 900 block of South 12th Street.  He was booked for 1st degree forgery and theft by unlawful taking.

Miller is also a suspect in the vandalism of the South Street Temple last January.  Since the beginning of the year, Miller has been booked thirteen times for theft, forgery and on drug charges.
