Lincoln Police were called to 44th and Normal Boulevard at 10:31 a.m. Monday, December 28th to investigate a disturbance.

Officers spoke with a 41 year old woman who said 20 year old Neves Carney had been arguing with his girlfriend and that discussion moved into the living room.  The woman said she tried to intervene as she feared the girlfriend would be hurt.  Carney then pulled out what the victim believed was a handgun, pointed it at her head and told her to “shut up”.  The woman was in fear for her life.

Officers learned the handgun was a pellet gun that closely resembled a firearm.

Carney was booked on terroristic threat charges.
