A man who caused a disturbance on Tuesday, December 29th at an apartment complex in the 4000 block of St. Paul Avenue is out of a hospital and now facing terroristic threat, use of a weapon to commit a felony, false imprisonment and domestic assault charges.
Police say 40 year old Timothy Sheridan had threatened to burn down the complex and shoot his way inside if he was not let in. The victim allowed the man inside but was later able to get out safely and called 911. Officers then got a search warrant with the assistance of the SWAT team. Sheridan was uncooperative and screamed for police to kill him. Officers then used a less lethal round which hit Sheridan in the leg. They also deployed a police service dog that bit Sheridan on the right hand. He was then taken into custody without further incident and taken to a hospital for treatment for two broken bones in the right hand.
Sheridan was released from the hospital on Thursday, December 31st at noon.
