A 25 year old woman is facing domestic assault charges after an incident on Tuesday, February 16th just before 10 p.m. at 15th and Superior. Police were called to an apartment complex parking lot on an accident call. Officers arrived and contacted a 32-year-old man who stated that his girlfriend, 24-year-old Miko Williams, had struck him with a vehicle after an argument.
The victim reported trying to walk away from her vehicle when she accelerated backwards towards him, striking him with her vehicle. Officers observed evidence at the scene consistent with the victim’s account of what happened. Williams then left the area in the vehicle, a 2015 white Toyota Rav4.
As an officer was responding to the scene, a white Rav4 was observed on Superior Street and the officer initiated a traffic stop identifying the driver as Williams. The victim’s injuries were minor but consistent with being hit by the vehicle.
Williams was arrested for 2nd Degree Domestic Assault.
