Lincoln Police are looking for a suspect in a stabbing that happened at 3:10 a.m. Saturday near 12th and E Street. Officers were called to that location to investigate an assault.
A 28 year old man had several superficial lacerations to his torso and 2 shallow puncture wounds in his upper torso as well as a wound to his forehead. None of the injuries were life threatening. Medical personnel arrived at the scene but the victim declined to be transported for treatment.
Officers canvassed the area for witnesses, gathered forensic evidence, and are in the process of collecting digital evidence. Investigators are working to identify and apprehend the suspect(s). The case is ongoing.
