Lincoln Police were called to the area of 63rd and Adams around 6:45 Thursday night to investigate a road rage incident.  LPD Public Information Manager Erika Thomas says a man reported a white Acura SUV had crashed into his vehicle with a woman and child inside.  The suspect then drove off.

“The victim said this occurred after the suspect had followed the him to a parking lot.”   Thomas says 25-year-old Dominic Kinser got out of his vehicle, approached the victim and began yelling at him.   The victim says Kinser also punched the driver’s side window.

Kinser was found about fifteen minutes later.  He was taken to the Lancaster County Jail and booked for three counts of attempted assault and criminal mischief.  The crash caused about $6,000 in damage to the victim’s vehicle.

Kinser’s SUV was impounded for being a disorderly vehicle, under a new city ordinance regarding reckless driving. LPD has towed four vehicles under the new disorderly vehicle ordinance since it went into effect on April 15.
