Lincoln Police were called to the EZ-Go convenience store at 25th and O at 7:55 p.m. on Thursday after an employee saw a man point a handgun at another man inside the store. There had been an argument over paying for gas. Video was located that showed the man pointing the gun at the victim’s legs. The man with the gun left the store and got into his vehicle and took off. He was stopped by officers near 27th and Porter Ridge Road.
23-year-old Abraheem A Muhammed was found to be driving the vehicle and was digging around in the center console when the officer approached. He was observed to be holding the magazine from a pistol and was promptly removed from the vehicle and detained. He admitted a firearm was in the car and a loaded Beretta 9mm pistol was found inside the vehicle.
Muhammed was cited and lodged for Terroristic Threats, a felony.
