Nebraska volleyball added another outside hitter to the roster, as Virginia Adriano was signed by Dani Busboom Kelly and the Husker program on Friday.
Adriano is a 6-5 opposite hitter from Turin, Italy and has three years of eligibility remaining. She comes to Nebraska from Bergamo, a team in Italy’s top professional league, Serie A1. She averaged 2.39 kills per set with a .385 hitting percentage. She also has international experience, playing for the Italy U23 National Team. That squad captured a gold medal at the European Championships in 2022.
