Lincoln Police are sorting out the details after a man was stabbed near 10th and South Streets around 8:30 Saturday night. When officers arrived on scene they found the 27-year-old man with a stab wound on to his shoulder.
LPD Public Information Manager Erika Thomas says the man told officers the incident didn’t happen where they found him and that he had walked to this location before seeking help from employees in a nearby business.
“The victim reported he believed he was in the area several blocks to the north of this location at the time of the incident,” Thomas says. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is encouraged to contact police at 402-441-6000.
