The Nebraska baseball team will be heading to Chapel Hill, N.C., for the NCAA regionals to take on Oklahoma after the Huskers swept through the Big Ten Tournament and earned the automatic bid to regionals with a 5-0 win over UCLA Sunday. The Cornhuskers (32-27) were tabbed as the No. 3 seed and will be the visiting team for the first round game against the Sooners (35-20) Friday.

No. 5 national seed North Carolina (42-12) and Holy Cross (31-25) round out the four-team field for the double-elimination regional. Nebraska qualifies for regionals for the 19th time in school history and for the 16th time in the last 25 NCAA Tournaments, dating back to 1999 and excluding the COVID year of 2020.

First pitch Friday is slated for 4 p.m. Pregame coverage will begin at 3:30 p.m. on KLIN.
