A burglary victim called for help around 2 a.m. Saturday morning on March 20th after he caught someone inside his apartment at 13th and P.
The 21 year old victim told police he arrived home and found a man armed with a knife inside his apartment. he was able to trap him behind a door in a hallway until officers arrived. Several other residents in the building assisted the victim in securing the suspect.
Officers found the man still trapped behind the door holding a knife. Officers took 37 year old Timothy Eulberg into custody without further incident. Officers found to fixed blade knives, one with a 5 1/2 inch blade and another with an 8 inch blade behind the door with Eulberg. He had six other knives on his person.
Officers found a tablet belonging to the victim and other miscellaneous items discarded behind the door. Bags of clothes, kitchen items, and technology belonging to other victims was found in the building elevator. Officers found that three other apartments had been entered and had items taken.
Eulberg was arrested for three counts of Burglary and one count of Possession of a Deadly Weapon During the Commission of a Felony.
