Lincoln Police were called to the NP Mart at 28th and O Street around 4 a.m. on Saturday, March 20th to investigate threats made to a store clerk. The clerk told police that a woman came into the store with a handgun and showed a knife in the waist of her pants. The woman then threatened to kill the clerk and left the area in a black SUV.
Lincoln Police interviewed several witnesses and viewed store security video.
Officers later located the SUV and the woman, 40 year old Heather Armstrong at her home near 3800 South 20th Street. When officers found Armstrong she still had a 9mm handgun concealed under her clothing.
Armstrong was booked for terroristic threats and use of a firearm to commit a felony.
