he Nebraska Department of Labor has released unemployment claim statistics for the week of March 14 – March 20.
New unemployment claims dropped by 20 compared to the week ending March 13th and new Pandemic Unemployment Assistance claims dropped by 50 in the same time frame.
Continued regular unemployment claims dropped by 134 compared to the week before and continued Pandemic Unemployment Claims dropped significantly by 272.
There was a significant drop of $1,137,051 in claims paid out the week of March 20th compared to the week of March 13th.
