Hayden Ainsworth, a three-star offensive lineman from Biloxi, Mississippi, committed to Nebraska over Ole Miss and NC State, Monday in the Huskers’ second commit in a month.

Ainsworth, who completed high school in three years to reclassify to the Class of 2026, could slot at either tackle or guard. That’s similar to Rex Waterman, the last NU commit.

He’s the sixth commitment of the class and the second straight lineman. While most Big Ten teams have 8-10 commits, the Huskers have just six, though more are expected this month as a slew of official visitors come through Lincoln.
