Lincoln Transportation and Utilities has announced a series of upcoming street closures beginning June 21 due to utility and infrastructure projects:
- June 21: Westbound “O” Street between 10th and 11th streets will close from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. for private crane work. StarTran Route 46 will be detoured.
- June 23: Eastbound Holdrege Street between 84th and 98th streets will close for water line installation through mid-January 2026. Local access will be maintained.
- June 23: Eastbound Normal Boulevard between 56th and 62nd streets will close for street improvements through late July.
- June 24–25: 56th Street between Calvert Street and Pioneers Boulevard will close for water service abandonment work. Local access will be maintained.
Detour routes are posted, and residents are encouraged to use caution and plan ahead. Project timelines may change due to weather. More info is available at lincoln.ne.gov/closures.
