The Lincoln Board of Education will present the Preliminary Proposed 2025–26 Budget during a public work session on Tuesday, June 24, at 4:30 p.m. at the Steve Joel District Leadership Center. The presentation will be livestreamed on the LPS website, YouTube, and LNK-TV Education Channel.
Board member Annie Mumgaard, chair of the Finance Committee, encouraged community engagement early in the process. “We want to hear from you,” she said. “The earlier in the process we hear from our community, the more likely it is we can address their feedback.”
Following Tuesday’s presentation, residents can provide input through several public forums and an online comment form, which opens June 25 and closes July 11.
