In an effort to reduce the number of animals inside the Capital Humane Society shelters, a Lincoln business is stepping up to cover adoption fees for one day only. Union Bank & Trust will be covering fees for every animal available on Friday.
The event will run from 11:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Pieloch Pet Adoption Center near 70th and Nebraska Parkway. It includes all available animals in their care including dogs, cats and small critters such as rabbits and guinea pigs. Adoption interactions will be on a first come, first served basis until the entire donation is spent.
