The Lincoln Children’s Zoo is launching a brand-new after-hours event this summer designed with families in mind.
The inaugural Family Fun Fest will take place Friday, July 18, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., giving guests exclusive evening access to the Zoo and a lineup of kid-friendly entertainment and activities.
The event will feature a live performance by the Diamond Empire Band, yard games, and Zoo-themed bingo. Additional activities will include face painting, caricatures, hair braiding, train rides, and animal feedings.
Food options include summer classics like burgers, hot dogs, and cotton candy.
“Family Fun Fest was created for the community and is all about spending quality time together and making unforgettable memories,” said Evan Killeen, CEO of Lincoln Children’s Zoo. “We’re excited to offer this new family-friendly summertime event and hope to see you all there!”
Tickets go on sale Tuesday, June 17 at 10 a.m. via lincolnzoo.org.
