Search and rescue teams from several states, including Nebraska, continue their work to locate about 160 missing people following catastrophic flooding along the Guadalupe River early on the morning of July 4.
Lincoln Fire and Rescue shared new pictures on Friday of Nebraska Task Force 1 team members searching extensive areas of debris. LFR says the team moved from Kerr to Kendal County where Task Force Leadership was met by the Sherriff and Fire Chief.
Canines worked the area and heavy machinery was brought in to help with the search operations. Governor Pillen says the 45 members of the urban search and rescue team are scheduled to be in Texas for two weeks.
