Nebraska volleyball’s Andi Jackson, Harper Murray and Bergen Reilly were named to the AVCA Player of the Year Watch List. The Huskers made up 10 percent of the 30-player list.

Jackson is looking to build off her breakout sophomore season at middle blocker, in which she earned first-team All-America honors ad unanimous All-Big Ten first-team honors. She averaged 2.62 kills per set and ranked sixth in the nation with a .439 hitting percentage. She notched 1.18 blocks per set as well.

Murray grabbed second-team AVCA All-America honors after leading Nebraska in service aces with 39 while registering 3.40 kills per set.

Reilly became the first-ever Big Ten setter to earn conference Setter of the Year honors as both a freshman and a sophomore. She grabbed second-team all-conference honors in both years as well. She averaged 11.08 assists per set last season.

The AVCA will add some players to the watch list in October, then narrow down to the semifinalists in November. The finalists will be announced in Dec. 15, with the Player of the Year Award named at the AVCA Awards Banquet Dec. 19 in Kansas City, the site of this year’s national semifinals and national finals.
