Lincoln Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help identifying suspects in two separate cases. One involves the robbery of a small amount of cash, and the other involves the shoplifting of two jump starters from Menards.

The first case occurred on Monday, July 14, 2025, in the parking lot of the U-Stop near W. Fletcher Avenue and Purple Heart Highway.

LPD Video Forensics Technician Becky Keller says the victim in this case was approached by a man who asked him for cash to buy food. The victim said he was going to give the man $5, but when he looked in his wallet, he only had $20 dollar bills.

The victim handed the man one $20 bill but the man insisted he hand over more money. This individual then punched the victim in the face and told him that he had a gun and knife in his vehicle. The victim ran inside to call 911 and the suspect took off in an older white Chevy pickup.

The suspect was described as having tattoos on both biceps and several other tattoos on his body, including a design resembling a swastika on his right shoulder. The victim reported seeing a cross tattoo on his cheek as well.

Photos of the suspect and his getaway vehicle are available below.

The second case occurred on Sunday, July 20, 2025, at the Menards near 91st and Andermatt Drive.

Keller says employees reported these two individuals entered the store together, possibly in a white mini van. A black male suspect was observed placing two jump starters into a cart, while a white male suspect appeared to be a lookout. They both leave without paying for the items.

The white male was described as having various tattoos which might be identifiable.

Photos of the suspects are available below.
