Nebraska tight end Mac Markway, who missed all last season with a torn ACL, will miss all of 2025 after the repair of that injury failed in the first day of practice, coach Matt Rhule said Thursday.
Markway joined Nebraska just as camp began last season, but went down early with an injury. He transfered to the Huskers from LSU, where he played in 12 games and started one as a freshman in 2023. He made three catches for 16 yards. Markway was ranked as the No. 3 tight end in the nation as a high schooler in St. Louis, Mo.
