The Nebraska Department of Transportation says asphalt joint repair began today, August 6, on U.S. Highway 6 near mile marker 323.66, weather permitting.
The one-day project will affect the Waverly/I-80 Interchange, with westbound traffic on US-6 unable to access the westbound on-ramp. Drivers using the westbound off-ramp at Exit 409 will only be able to turn east.
NDOT maintenance crews will complete the repairs. Drivers are urged to use caution in the work zone, buckle up, and avoid distractions.
