The search is on for a suspect accused of assaulting a woman around 9:30 Sunday night. “The 24-year-old woman called to report she had just been pistol whipped by an unknown man who stole her wallet in the bathroom of the McDonalds and U-Stop at 2140 K Street,” says Public Information manager Erika Thomas.
The suspect then left southbound. Thomas says the victim also left before officers arrived, but a U-Stop employee told them the victim had been bleeding from her left ear. The investigation is ongoing.
