Lancaster County sheriff’s deputies made a second arrest in the armed robbery of a 13 year old girl Monday afternoon. The girl had arranged to sell a pair of Air Jordan’s to an 18 year old she was acquainted with. They had agreed to meet at a park in Waverly. Elijah Hergott and a 17 year old passenger showed up for the transaction. The 17 year old pulled out a realistic looking BB gun and ordered the girl out of the vehicle. The two then took off with the shoes.
The 17 year old was located at his home Tuesday afternoon and taken to the Juvenile Youth Center. Police also located the weapon used in the robbery.
Hergott was arrested early Tuesday and was booked for robbery.
