Lincoln Police were called on Wednesday, April 21st from an electronics company out of Texas to report a possible fraudulent computer order.  They stated that someone called and said they were working for an electric or construction company in Lincoln.  That person ordered over $100,000 in Apple MacBook laptops and asked for them to be delivered to the address associated with the business.

At last minute, that person called back and changed the delivery address to the 200 block of S 13th Street.  A delivery driver took the computers to that address but they were unable to make the delivery because that location did not have an elevator.

The following day the computers were delivered but the location has not been determined.  Investigators are still looking into information on where the delivery took place.  The owners of the company were contacted and they stated they did not place an order for MacBook laptops.

Those with information are encourage you to call Lincoln Police at 402-441-6000 or Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.
