Since 1996, fans around the world asked the question: who killed 2pac? They may have finally gotten their answer.
Earlier this month, Duane “Keffe D” Davis was found guilty of the murder of Tupac Shakur in Las Vegas on September 7th, 1996. Keffe D was found guilty of first-degree murder with a deadly weapon with the intent to promote, further, or assist a criminal gang.
The jury only took 3 hours to deliberate.
Many have speculated if currently incarcerated rapper Diddy may also face charges as well due to his past involvements with the late rapper.
The prosecution claimed that Diddy offered Keffe D $1 Million for the hit on Tupac. These claims were caught on a secret recording with Keffe D and the LAPD in 2008. Police have not made any formal charges against Diddy for the direct involvement in the death of 2pac.
Keffe D will be sentenced on October 13th, with the possibility of life in prison.
